You have images on your post content. other than that everything else is same as my demo site. The problem may be because of images. Try removing the images and see whether it works fine. I'm running into a problem though with the post limit plugin. It only works if I reduce the max word count down to about 400. This results in more than half of the box on the index page being empty.
